Sunday, April 28, 2013. Last weekend was a fun one for me. I had the amazing volunteer opportunity to paint and spread some love at the same time. This opportunity came from a fantastic organization that will from now on be close to my heart Rooms That Rock 4 Chemo. And another talented decorative painter and illustrator Melka Myers. Paint, Draw and More! Provides art classes, summer camps, and art parties throughout Fairfield County, CT for children and adults. Our classes include art instruction in drawing, painting, clay, sculpture and design. Classes are held for young artists in area public schools, private schools and parks and recreation.

Drawing a realistic object begins with the understanding of how we visually perceive light and shadow and how these two work together to give us the sense of three-dimensional form. We can look at how light interacts with form and identify several distinct characteristics that appear in the scene. Lets look at the different elements or part of the light patterns on form.
